Frequently Asked Questions
Who is Ben?
Ben and his family took over the BJ's Farm bloodline and raise the puppies at their house. They are who you will meet in person when you come visit to meet the puppies or pick-up your pup.
Who is Jacque?
Jacque is the main contact person for BJ's Farm. She answers all of the texts, calls, emails and more. She also manages the website, social media platforms and all photography of the puppies. You will likely never meet her in person.
What are the different milestones in our puppies lives before we pick them up?
Puppies eyes usually open around 2 weeks old, this is also when we start their deworming schedule as a preventative. Over the next week or so they start getting up and about more. At 4 weeks old they are on their feet and getting playful, this is when we allow you to start visiting for picks. Between 4-6 weeks we start the weaning process. Around 6 weeks old they receive their first set of puppy vaccines, which will need boostered once they come home with you. At 8 weeks old they are fully weaned and ready to go home with you!
What health information do I need to know about my puppy?
Your puppy is dewormed by us as a preventative. We also begin their initial puppy vaccination series and have them checked by a vet. If there are any specific health notes you need to know about your puppy we will tell you before pick-up. You will receive documentation of everything and it is essential that you follow up with your own vet to keep your puppy on an appropriate care schedule.

If no satisfactory puppy is born for the spot holder, their deposit is transferred to the wait list for the next litter. Deposits are non-refundable.
How much do your puppies cost?
Our puppies start at $2800 for limited registration. This cost does not include tax.
Do you do any health testing on your bloodline?
Our bloodline has been going for nearly two decades and we strongly believe in only breeding quality and healthy dogs. Due to the long history of our bloodline, we do not find it necessary to perform health testing on our dogs. Any new lineage that is introduced to our program is carefully selected based off of testing and/or history of the bloodline.
